Georgia
Embarking from vibrant Tbilisi, we traveled to the historic first capital, Mtskheta, adorned with over a thousand churches. Our adventure continued north to the Russian border, where the majestic Kazbegi mountain in the Svaneti region captivated us. Using the Fujifilm XC 50-230mm lens, I captured stunning landscapes and distant details.
Our skilled driver, Sviat, a cognac connoisseur, guided us south to the David Gareja Monastery. The rainbow-colored mountains near the Armenia border presented a fascinating, arid contrast.
We concluded our trip in Kakheti, Georgia's celebrated wine region. Here, we enjoyed exquisite Georgian wine, a product of an 8,000-year-old tradition, served with unparalleled hospitality. Occasionally, I switched to the Fujifilm XF 23mm f2 lens, essential for capturing a wide variety of scenes with clarity and precision.
